The art of de-escalation protects lives, builds trust, and promotes positive interactions between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Jack Cover, who developed TASER technology, understood the significance of non-lethal force in preserving life. At Axon, we continue his mission to protect life through our products and technology.

The Jack Cover “Save of the Year” Award is given out on a annual basis to recognize one public safety professional who uses a TASER energy weapon to de-escalate a critical situation.

All qualified Jack Cover submissions will receive the Jack Cover Medal of Heroism.
